GitHub Badge Not Visible on Profile After Receiving It

Hi everyone,

I recently received two badges — “Heart On Your Sleeve” and “Open Sourcerer” — around 2–3 days ago. However, they are not visible on my GitHub profile page.

I have already:

Checked my profile multiple times
Logged out and logged back in
Waited for some time in case of delay

But the badges are still not appearing.

Is there any delay in badge visibility, or am I missing something? Has anyone else faced this issue?

We’re aware that some users experienced issues with GitHub profile Achievements not loading or appearing correctly. This was part of a temporary issue that has now been resolved.

As part of that issue, the Heart On Your Sleeve and Open Sourcerer achievements were also temporarily re-enabled in error. Those achievements were part of an experimental rollout and were not meant to be broadly available, so they were removed again once the mistake was identified.

You should now be able to view your achievements as expected. If you’re still seeing anything missing or not loading properly, feel free to let us know here.
