I took a look around:
The staff member from those discussions no longer works at GitHub, so I'm not sure who currently owns the feature or can act as liaison. For now the best workaround seems to be to query both the starred repos and lists via the GraphQL API and then cross-reference them to find the ones not in any list. |

Over the years, I've collected a LOT of starred repos (375 so far), and today I decided to spend some time filing them away in my own lists. I'll probably chunk this into a few different sessions to catalog things when I'm feeling bored, but not all at once.
By doing that, I'm realizing I'm losing track which repos I have or haven't starred yet, which makes it really hard to manage this process.
I'd love a way to filter my starred repos by anything that doesn't already belong in one of my lists, so I can treat it as a queue of repos I can file away into my own categories.
Bonus points: add the ability to file starred repos using AI to pick up on descriptions or cues about each repo so they end up in appropriate categories / lists.
