Go directly to https://github.com/account/recovery — that's the form GitHub provides for account recovery when you've lost access to your email/password. It asks for the original email, a description of what happened, and you can attach those security notification screenshots. |

If your account was compromised and your original email was removed, this is unfortunately not something the GitHub Community can resolve directly. Only GitHub Support can assist with account recovery. Since you still have access to the original email address and possess the security notification emails, keep all evidence (emails, screenshots, timestamps, original username, and any billing information if applicable). Try the official recovery and support channels: GitHub Account Recovery If you are receiving HTTP 403 errors, try: Using a different browser or incognito/private mode. For security reasons, do not post personal information (email addresses, recovery codes, screenshots containing sensitive data, or account details) publicly in Community discussions. A GitHub staff member may provide additional guidance, but account ownership verification and recovery can only be handled through GitHub Support. Hello,
My GitHub account appears to have been compromised and I am completely locked out.
Original Username: bishal7448
Original Email: saha.bishal7676@gmail.com
I received security notification emails showing that:
My password was changed without my authorization.
A new email address was added to the account.
My original email address was removed from the account.
A personal access token was created without my permission.
Because my original email was removed, I can no longer log in or recover the account through normal methods.
I still have access to the original email address and I have retained the GitHub security notification emails and screenshots as proof of ownership.
Additionally, I am currently unable to access GitHub Support because the support portal returns an HTTP 403 error, and emails sent to support are being rejected.
Could a GitHub staff member please advise on the correct recovery process for a compromised account in this situation?
