@Nianzhou-Max If GitHub is asking you to use your device camera, try taking a clear photo of the physical CHSI document instead of uploading a screenshot or digital copy. Make sure the document is fully visible and your name, university, and enrollment information are clearly readable. If it still gets rejected, I’d recommend contacting GitHub Education Support for further guidance. |

Yes, your CHSI report is exactly what you need! However, GitHub strictly requires a live camera photo. You cannot upload a file or ask for a manual review. Since your laptop camera is taking blurry photos, here is the easiest way to fix it:
Keep trying with your phone. Once the picture is clear |

Have a look at the FAQ. I suggest you also translate your name if possible (remember to update your billing info to reflect the new translation). I also recommend you take as clear of an image of the text as possible including your school name, your name, date of enroll etc. |
Uh oh!

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Subject: GitHub Education verification repeatedly rejected
I am a currently enrolled full-time student at Shenzhen University of Information Technology, China.
I have an official English Online Verification Report of Student Record issued by CHSI. However, my GitHub Education applications have repeatedly been rejected with the message: “Please use your device camera to submit academic affiliation documents.”
I have tried multiple devices, browsers, and camera methods, but the captured images become blurry or the application continues to reject the submission.
Could you please clarify whether my current CHSI report is an acceptable document and whether there is an alternative way to submit it for manual review?
Thank you for your assistance.
