Haiti approves 282 political parties and platforms for upcoming elections

Despite progress and preparations, electoral officials say funding and security are still crucial for holding Haiti’s long-delayed elections. Voter registration is scheduled from April 1 to June 29, and candidates can declare their intentions from April 13 to May 15.
