    $\begingroup$ Does the flight profile go mostly Up or mostly Sideways? At maximum range, what will the height be, and what will the ground range be? I ask because vertical dipole type antennas have minimum radiation below them, which is just where you need it for a high up balloon. $\endgroup$ Commented Nov 1, 2019 at 7:45
