$\begingroup$ Obviously the antenna is not tuned (currently using DXEs "Ground mounted with radials" dimensions as a starting point). Once i make the radial connection more permanent, there should be better 'dips' to tune for resonance, as was evidenced in this experiment. $\endgroup$
