Why are you saying that "Ishmael" was not a son, "according to promise"? I understand the New Testament argument - but you are not presenting this as a New Testament argument. Does this argument appear in the Old Testament too? "Galatians 4:30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, For the son of the bondwoman shall not be an heir with the son of the free woman.” This is directly contradicted in Jacob, his 2 wives, and 2 porcupines.
