Something all of us have missed is the main warning in Matthew 24 that Jesus taught to call him "The Christ" is false.
Mat 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. Mat 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.
When we look at other statements about him being called the Christ it is the same.
Mat 16:20 Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.
Mar 8:29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.” Mar 8:30 And he strictly charged them to tell no one about him.
Luk 9:20 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “The Christ of God.” Luk 9:21 But he warned them, and commanded them to tell this to no one,
We see the same thing at the Pilate trial. Luk 22: 67-69, John 10: 24-27
The only place that he says "I am the Christ" is in Mar 14: 61-62
and it is mistranslated they missed a negating particle it should read "I am not the Christ."
Jesus gives us clues through out that he is actually Jesus Barabbas
Mat 26:55 At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me.
Luk 22:52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
James was actually called "Christ" according to Josephus

Due to mistranslations we have all been decieved

I can explain more if you need me to but we have missed a very important Greek rule in the text for negating particles which effects the events
