Well, but... have you not considered Matt. 11:13? ..."all the prophets and the law till John did prophesy" ALL, not some of them.. ALL of them. The plenary, or dual prophesies were of the OT Messianic prophesies. And, Jesus said they were ALL until John. IOW, John's ministry clearing the path for Jesus was the time the dual prophesies were to be fulfilled. What is it you want Jesus to do in a future coming that He has not already done? Are you waiting for a 3rd destruction of Jerusalem?Gina– Gina2024-01-26 13:50:28 +00:00Commented Jan 26, 2024 at 13:50

Further the time and place of the Gog of Magog prophesy from Ezek. was the same lands of the old Persian empire which Rome ruled in the 1st century AD. Excellent portrayal of double prophecy. + 1. The (Full) Preterist argument only holds up if the book of Revelation was written prior to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD but there is way too much evidence to the contrary. It had to have been written within the time of the Emperor Domitian, see:- evidenceunseen.com/bible-difficulties-2/nt-difficulties/jude/… Consequently, Revelation was most likely written circa 95 AD. The fact that Nero was born Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus has to be of no consequence, for a 60's dating.Olde English– Olde English2024-01-27 07:19:22 +00:00Commented Jan 27, 2024 at 7:19

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. word-study), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
