  • What happens when teams come together to truly understand the organisation beyond their own roles? 🤝 At our first ever Agratas Immersion Day, held at our global headquarters in Bengaluru, the energy was unmistakable. Questions flowed, ideas were exchanged, and there was a genuine curiosity in the air 💡 From exploring different departments and technologies to connecting manufacturing, testing and product development, the experience brought one thing to life clearly; how we all come together and connect as one system.  What stood out most was the enthusiasm of our teams to learn, collaborate and engage. We went beyond sharing updates, focusing on building a collective understanding of our journey and the role we each must play to continue delivering with urgency.

  • We had a touch of Scotland at our Bridgwater site last week, as we celebrated the Topping Out of the steels for Building One! 🎉 Topping out happens when the highest structural component is added, marking the completion of the building’s core structure. Our construction partner, Sir Robert McAlpine (SRM), marked the special occasion with a bagpipe player, leading attendees to the celebrations. Whilst tankards and certificates were awarded to those who’ve played a significant role on site, putting up the 23,000 tonnes of steel for Building One and its key ancillary buildings 🏗️ Alongside us, key speakers from SRM, StantecSeverfield and NG Bailey delivered speeches, and lunch was provided, to the workers on site as a big thank you for all their hard work. Not only was this a day of celebration, but also a day to reflect on how far we’ve come and to look forward to the future - imagining the frame as a completed building, creating 1,600 jobs, making EV batteries for JLR, and becoming a home of innovation. We're taking the next step in building Gravity's sustainable infrastructure — and we want to hear from the market. 💧 This is Gravity, in collaboration with Agratas – A Tata Enterprise, is hosting a Market Engagement Event on Tuesday 24th March to explore the procurement of a Water Supply and Wastewater Infrastructure Provider for the Gravity Smart Campus, Bridgwater. The opportunity, to be procured under the Ofwat NAV regulated procedure, involves designing, building, financing, owning and operating integrated water and wastewater assets across our 616-acre site. This includes greywater reuse as part of a whole-campus water strategy, reducing carbon footprint and increasing on-site sustainability in line with our Local Development Order commitments. We're keen to hear from NAVs and supply chain partners at all levels. This is your chance to shape the opportunity before formal procurement begins. #ThisIsGravity #SmartCampus #CleanGrowth #WaterInfrastructure #NAV #Ofwat #Agratas #Somerset #SouthWest #AdvancedManufacturing

  • Safety is our starting point. It is a core value that guides how we design, build and operate our facilities. Our Sanand site recently marked the 55th National Safety Week in India, by bringing team members, leadership, partners and families together to reinforce that a safe workplace is a shared responsibility. Activities throughout the week included a safety and emergency response equipment demonstration, an online safety quiz, and a “Spot the Hazard” competition, encouraging teams to actively identify potential risks. Team members and their families also participated in creative competitions and a safety awareness challenge, sharing messages on fire, electrical, road and workplace safety across their networks. Initiatives like National Safety Week help us strengthen a culture where safety remains at the heart of everything we do as we continue building a sustainable electric mobility future.
