Last week in Miami, Persistent joined leaders, innovators, advisors and practitioners from across the financial ecosystem at the Global Financial Innovation Roundtable for candid conversations on AI, digital assets, payments and data. Several themes stood out: •AI is moving from experimentation to execution, with leaders shifting their focus beyond pilots to where it changes how the enterprise actually runs. •Data sovereignty and governance have become board-level questions, as institutions work out where innovation ends and control, security and regulation begin. •Digital assets are edging toward institutional adoption and the conversation has moved past the technology to the infrastructure, governance and operating models needed to scale it. •The next phase of transformation will be built through collaboration, with banks, fintechs, technology providers and advisors each holding a piece of what turns possibility into practice. The roundtable reinforced the importance of bringing industry leaders together to exchange ideas and build meaningful connections. The value was in the candour: people describing what has worked, what hasn't and what they would do differently. Microsoft Global Hackathon 2026 marked a significant milestone for Persistent as our first in-person participation in a Microsoft-organized global hackathon. Over four intensive days, Microsoft and Persistent teams collaborated with Microsoft experts to transform a real-world business challenge into an innovative AI-powered solution, demonstrating the strength of our partnership and a shared commitment to accelerating client innovation and business transformation. The result is a next-generation AI-assisted Synapse-to-Fabric Migration Solution, jointly developed using Microsoft's Hypervelocity Engineering (HVE) and Persistent's Kinetic Agentic Platform. It enables enterprises to accelerate modernization, improve migration productivity, reduce costs and achieve predictable outcomes through human-governed AI automation. Beyond the solution, the experience reinforced the power of co-innovation in translating AI possibilities into tangible client value and accelerating Microsoft Fabric adoption.
