Ankur Warikoo shared this20 signs that you are doing better than you think you are: 1. You paid the bills this month and maybe something more for non-essentials as well. 2. You questioned yourself. You feel miserable some days. This means you are still open to growth. 3. You have an income. You are earning money that helps you sleep, eat, and wear something. 4. You have time to do something that you enjoy. Even if it is lying on the couch, watching Netflix. 5. You are not worried about where your next meal is coming from. 6. You can eat for pleasure. It is not a matter of sheer survival for you. 7. You have 1 or 2 truly close friends. And you realise that may be enough. 8. You can afford the smallest conveniences - a metro ride, Uber/Ola, or a cup of coffee at your favourite cafe. 9. You are not the same person you were a year ago. 10. You have the time and means to do something beyond the bare minimum. You have recently read a book, gone to a concert, worked out, or taken a day trip. 11. You have a selection of clothing you can choose from. Or it was a choice not to. You are in a position to decide. 12. You can sense what is not right in your life. You may not know how to solve for it yet, but you know something is off. 13. If you talk to your younger self, you would be able to say "we did it." 14. You have a space of your own. Doesn't need to be a home or apartment. Could be a sofa, or a corner, or a desk. 15. You have chosen to break away from toxic relationships. 16. You are interested in something. Something that excites you and intrigues you. 17. You know how to take care of yourself. How many hours of sleep you should get, what to do for fun, who you can turn to during tough times. 18. You are working towards a goal. Something that drives you; that motivates you even if it doesn't come with any potential reward. 19. You are not set on only one future version of yourself. You allow yourself to be flexible. 20. You have been through crap and have survived. Life didn't get easier. You got stronger.

Ankur Warikoo shared thisDoes success remove your insecurity? I used to believe it would. It doesn't. It just relocates it. Before success, the fear is: "Will this even work?" After success, the fear becomes: "Can I do it again?" And after repeated success, it turns into: "What if I lose all of it?" The mind simply upgrades its fears with every achievement. It never runs out of new ones to hand you. Which is why chasing success for emotional peace is a rigged game. You think the calm is waiting on the other side of the next milestone. It isn't. You get there and the finish line quietly moves again. The peace was never something success could give you. It has to be built now. Alongside the chase. Not after it.

It's convincing yourself that the thing you've already said a dozen times still needs to be said. Saying the thing you said in 2021, to the person who just arrived in 2026. It feels boring to you. You've lived with this idea for years. But the person hearing it today has never encountered it before. The audience keeps refreshing. But the truths don't. Teachers have known this for centuries. They don't stop teaching a lesson just because they've taught it a hundred times. They teach it because, every single year, someone is hearing it for the very first time. That's not repetition. That's the job.

Ankur Warikoo shared thisI am an eternal optimist. People who know me well call me an irrational optimist. I believe the future is always beautiful. That tomorrow is always better than today. Notice the word I chose. Better. The future will be bigger. It will bring more gratification. It will make you a more aware, more experienced person. It will bring peace, and a sense of accomplishment. But most of us describe the future with the wrong word. Easier. "Tomorrow will be easier than today." And honestly, we were raised on it. "Study now, so tomorrow is easier." "Finish your degree, so you can lean on it and life gets easier." "Work hard in your 20s and 30s, so your 40s are easier." Here is the truth nobody told us. Tomorrow is not going to be easier. It will be better, at best. And if that's the case, the question to ask yourself isn't whether you're excited about the future. It's whether you are prepared for it.

For 6 years. 1 lunch date with Ruchi, every week. For 6 years. 1 team offsite, every quarter. For 6 years. 1 book, every year. For 6 years. 100+ days of travel, every year. For 5 years. None of it was extraordinary on any single day. All of it became extraordinary over time. Consistency beats everything.

Ankur Warikoo shared thisI noticed this in Mumbai during an ad shoot. 14 hours straight, 7 am to 9 pm, a team of about 200 people. It wasn't my first shoot. But each one teaches me something. This time I realised - to the experts on that set, I was not Ankur Warikoo. Not an actor, not a personal brand, not even a person. I was whatever their craft needed me to be. The moment I reached my hotel, the styling team was waiting. In 60 minutes, I wore 30+ outfits as they clicked away. To them, I was a mannequin. To the makeup artist, a face. To the hairstylist, strands of hair. To the audio person, a voice. To the photographer, a model under lights. To the director, someone to emote. Each of them had one task. And they executed it perfectly, without emotion, with exceptional skill. It reminded me of the Mahabharata. Dronacharya sets a bird's eye as the archery target and asks each student, "What do you see?" One sees the tree. One the sky. One the whole bird. Then comes Arjun. "What do you see, Arjun?" "I see only the bird's eye, gurudev." That is the difference between winners and losers. Losers scan every possibility, and still miss. Winners see only the mark.

When I clear that interview, everything will be okay. When I have enough, I will start investing. But here's the truth we keep missing. If you aren't happy with the small things you already have, you will never be happy with the big things. Even if you get them. The job won't fix it. The money won't fix it. The partner won't fix it. Because happiness is not a destination. It's a choice.

Ankur Warikoo shared thisDuring a 1:1, a team member told me he has given up on love. He is 25. I told him that's far too early to close that door. He met his last girlfriend as a teenager. That was young love. And young love lives almost entirely on the surface. Looks, fashion, confidence, vibe, popularity. That's our selection criteria at 18. Then reality arrives. We start seeing the true nature of the other person, while coming to terms with our own. The biggest mistake we make is ignoring the obvious red flags. Because we're in love, and that's exactly what love does to us. But at 25, young love is meant to grow into mature love. You may still not know exactly who you're looking for. But you should be mature enough not to ignore the red flags this time. You know better now than to fall only for a face. Fall for the mind too. Because in the end, you will live with your partner's mind. Not their face. As we grow and change, so does what love means to us. What you seek at 25 should look nothing like what you sought at 18. So don't give up on love. Give it a wiser chance.

Why most funding conversations never convert — even when capital is available. Over the last few years, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat across growth-stage and cross-border mandates. Founders come prepared with: • Revenue numbers • Growth projections • Valuation expectations But capital committees don’t decide on enthusiasm. They decide on deployability. Before any serious capital commitment, three questions quietly determine the outcome: Can this business absorb capital without structural distortion? ■ Is governance, jurisdiction, and downside protection institutionally clean? ■ Does the capital structure preserve leverage at exit — or compress it? ■ When these answers are unclear, conversations stall. Not because capital is scarce — but because risk is mispriced. This is where most “fundraising efforts” collapse. In my work across Dubai and global markets, my role is rarely about introductions. It is about structuring capital in a way institutions are comfortable deploying. When the architecture is right, capital moves.

Rezolv AI Rezolv Raises $12.5M Series A to Scale AI Lending Mumbai-based AI lending technology platform Rezolv has raised $12.5 million in #SeriesA funding led by Norwest, with participation from Vertex Ventures SE Asia & India and existing investor 3one4 Capital. Founded in October 2024 by Karan Mehta and Sonali Jindal, also co-founders of Kissht, Rezolv previously raised $3.5 million in seed funding. #Rezolv plans to use the new capital to expand AI capabilities across sales, risk, underwriting and collections. The platform works with more than 22 banks and NBFCs, including AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Poonawalla Fincorp, Bajaj Auto Credit and Five Star Business Finance. Rezolv says its platform manages 6.5 million minutes of borrower conversations monthly across more than 12 million loan accounts, with a claimed 35% improvement in bounce and resolution rates.
