Brad I like* how over the course of the last 15 years calling something "the algorithm" has gone from sort of nerdy twee to the most dystopian, cryptic, nihilistic, perilous, faustian-pact evil thing imaginable. Good, fun sound design getting djent adjacent to all the electro -cores, -waves and -trances.

David Fischer How much The Algorithm has evolved since releasing Polymorphic Code is just beyond me. One would need not more than 2 seconds to recognise the artist, yet Monsieur Gallego always manages to sound fresh, new, and engaging. I've been there for most of the way, and Recursive Infinity is a masterstroke – perhaps his most versatile work yet. The vocoder is a great fit for the less djenty, spastic tracks. Synths are bubbly and bright throughout. And it fucking dj0nts. A resolute oui? You bet your ass! Favorite track: Endless Iteration.
