Un'iniziativa resa possibile grazie al contributo di Alessandra Gentile, Lara Poles, Stefano La Malfa, Francesco Scollo e Aldo Todaro e in collaborazione con l'Università di Catania. Nuove evidenze, nuove prospettive anche nel modo di nominare le patologie. Un consenso internazionale pubblicato su The Lancet propone di superare la denominazione PCOS – Polycystic Ovary Syndrome a favore di PMOS – Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. Un cambiamento che non è soltanto terminologico: la nuova definizione riflette meglio la natura complessa e multisistemica della sindrome, mettendo in evidenza le sue componenti endocrine, metaboliche e ovariche, oltre a superare il riferimento alle “cisti”, considerato non rappresentativo dell’intero quadro clinico. La ricerca evolve e, con essa, evolve anche il modo in cui comprendiamo la salute femminile. ADVANCING HAIR LOSS CARE TOGETHER | BCN HAIR MEETING 2026 🇪🇸  Three inspiring days of scientific exchange, innovation and meaningful conversations at the Third Barcelona Hair Meeting! A big thank you to all the dermatologists, trichology experts and partners who visited our booth in Sitges to discover our innovative approach targeting hair-follicle biology through selected microRNAs from milk-derived exosomes, originating from the research of Innovation Giuliani. How can innovative bioactive ingredients contribute to maintaining a healthy scalp environment? At the 55th Annual ESDR Meeting, Giuliani Innovation will present Poster #337, dedicated to the in vitro efficacy of Peauforia™ on human hair follicles. The study investigates an innovative FGF-2–oleosome ingredient and its potential role in supporting key pathways involved in scalp homeostasis and hair follicle physiology. From research to the ESDR Flash Talk. At ESDR 2026, Giuliani Innovation presents new research on the use of microRNA milk-derived exosomes in hair growth. The study, “Effect of microRNA milk-derived exosomes on objective markers of hair growth in androgenetic alopecia and/or telogen effluvium: a randomised placebo-controlled study”, investigated their effects on objective hair growth parameters, showing significant improvements in anagen percentage, anagen/telogen ratio and hair shaft diameter compared with placebo.
