Starting a new job can be a lot. Braze Buddy is a new hire program that can make those first few months feel a little easier. When Daniella Athanasopoulos, Email Operations Specialist, joined our São Paulo team, she was paired with Lurian Victolla, Executive Assistant and Business Operations Lead. As our São Paulo office continues to grow, Braze Buddy helps new team members build relationships early and feel part of our culture from the start. As our São Paolo office continues to grow, so do the ways the Braze Buddies connect. At one of their meetups, Daniella and Lurian decided to try rug making together. Neither of them had done it before, which makes the results even more impressive 🎨 “Having someone who already knows the company and is happy to be there for you is such a warm welcome and a great icebreaker from day one,” Daniela shared. Lurian felt the same: “Choosing an activity together is a great way to start getting to know each other. It was our first time tufting, and the whole experience was amazing. In celebration of International Women’s Day and this year’s #GiveToGain theme, Elle@Braze, our women’s employee resource group, hosted a panel discussion on the power of mentorship, sponsorship, and giving back to support women’s growth in their roles and beyond. Hosted in our London office and livestreamed globally, the panel brought together leaders from across our customer community and explored how investing in others doesn’t just help shape individual careers, but strengthens teams, cultures, and organizations as a whole.
