1"The traditional approach states that the entire Torah was given to 'Moses' at Sinai." Is this so? Can you source it?Double AA– Double AA ♦2017-05-22 01:18:03 +00:00Commented May 22, 2017 at 1:18

When you say that (according to the traditional approach) the "entire Torah" was given at Sinai ---- does that include the historical parts that didn't happen until later? In other words, according to this approach, did Moses, after Sinai, know all these details about his own future? (Once again, I do apologize if I'm being dense here.)WillO– WillO2017-05-22 01:55:16 +00:00Commented May 22, 2017 at 1:55

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. sources-mekorot), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
