@Groovy: All Saito needs to do is get a message to the prosecutor that the charges should be dropped. The prosecutor, assuming they're cooperative, and their office would take care of everything else. Saito doesn't need any of his own lawyers involved; best if they're kept far away from anything unethical like this.
