  • The judgment doesn't state that he has unlimited authority, only that the authority he has derives from his position as C-in-C rather than Congressional authority.   • Although we may have to wait for the supreme court to get a more narrow ruling, it's worth noting the Bush administration was (ostensibly) successful as they dropped the charges relating to classified documents against Libby (although brought different charges). Further Trump by definition acted in a constitutional fashion.
