  • 2024 Award Recipients

    The recipients for the Armen H. Zemanian Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2024 in the areas of Circuits and Systems are Pegah Iranfari, Abdolah Amirany, Mohammad Hossein Moaiyeri and Kian Jafaria for their paper “On the Layout-Oriented Investigation of Power Attack Hardness of Spintronic-Based Logic Circuits” published in the May 2024 issue, pp. 3212-3237. The recipients for the Sydney R. Parker Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2024 in the area of Signal Processing are Ling Xu, Huan Xu, and Feng Ding for their paper “Adaptive Multi-Innovation Gradient Identification Algorithms for a Controlled Autoregressive Autoregressive Moving Average Model”, published in the June 2024 issue, pp. 3718-3747. The former paper was also chosen for the M.N.S. Swamy Best Paper Award, which is given for the best paper published in 2023 or 2024 irrespective of the subject area.

  • CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE THREE CSSP BEST PAPER AWARDS FOR 2024

    The Editor-in-Chief is now calling for nominations amongst the papers that have been published in printed form in 2024 for the Armen H. Zemanian Best Paper Award and the Sydney R. Parker Best Paper Award. For the M.N.S. Swamy Best Paper Award, papers published in printed form in 2023 or 2024 are eligible.  The nomination should contain information of the title of the paper, names of the authors, page numbers, the issue in which it has been published and the name of the award to which the paper has been nominated, and should be accompanied by a paragraph of the reasons for nominating it for the award. The nominations should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief, M.N.S. Swamy, to <cssp@ece.concordia.ca>.  Deadline for nominations is July 31, 2025.  The information should be supplied in the following format.

  • 2023 Award Recipients

    The recipients for the Armen H. Zemanian Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2023 in the areas of Circuits and Systems are Hong-Yi Huang, Jen-Chieh Liu, Fu-Chien Tsai, Kun-Hua Lee, and Kun-Yuan Chen for their paper “A 12-Phase and 5-GHz PLL with a Subfeedback Loop Technique” published in the April issue, pp. 1873-1892. The recipients for the Sydney R. Parker Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2023 in the area of Signal Processing are Abhijeet Kumar, Samuel Abrams, Abhishek Kumar, and Vijaykrishnan Narayanan for their paper “STAR: Efficient SpatioTemporal Modeling for Action Recognition” published in the February issue, pp. 705-723. The latter paper was also chosen for the M.N.S. Swamy Best Paper Award, which is given for the best paper published in 2022 or 2023 irrespective of the subject area.
