Jun 10, 2017 at 0:04 comment added user78249 I was very mistaken by what I thought creative telescoping is. It's much more subtle, and does sound a lot like the 17 camels trick. My mistake :). I also do remember our little conversation about Feynman.

Jun 9, 2017 at 23:30 comment added user78249 I'm not sure how creative telescoping applies here. For me, I always thought creative telescoping was finding $\Delta y = F(x)$ when the solution $y$ requires a non-obvious approach. I could be wrong though. +1 for Feynman's method though, I use it all the time and sometimes I lost marks because "I didn't use contour integration."
