10Developer Story is not going to be included in this initial experiment, but we know how well loved that feature was. I can’t make any promises at this stage, but it is something that is on the top of our list to consider reviving in future iterations.Sasha– Sasha StaffMod2024-04-30 16:01:32 +00:00Commented Apr 30, 2024 at 16:01

1Is there a possibility (From Indeed's side - I am not asking for a promise!) that such a Developer Story recreation gets connected with the new Stack Overflow Jobs?dan1st– dan1st2024-04-30 16:03:41 +00:00Commented Apr 30, 2024 at 16:03

2The Developer Story and the ability to generate and download a CV from it was a great feature. I got lots of positive feedback on it, WRT layout, etc.Adam Porad– Adam Porad2024-05-03 20:09:59 +00:00Commented May 3, 2024 at 20:09

1Developer Story was my only CV for many years. That's the main thing I miss. I don't understand what business reason there was for removing that feature. How much would it really cost to just turn it back on and leave it alone? I don't currently have a CV and have gotten by with just using LinkedIn. I dread the idea of learning some other tool for creating a new CV. If you don't want to continue running it as a service, could you at least open source it?CoderDennis– CoderDennis2024-06-05 12:07:31 +00:00Commented Jun 5, 2024 at 12:07

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. stack-overflow), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
