  • Let's say someone asks on EL&u "Is this right?" and posts "All right all-right alright" That is a question. But is it on topic for an English language website? Is it interesting? Mildly? Does it show effort? What do you think? Even semi-illiterate people can write a question. That's not the problem. It's the "why" post it on a Q&A website? Do they want a "yes" or "no" answer, or do they need an in-depth explanation that explains why/how something works? A sentence can be grammatical, but also meaningless. How useful to future visitors would "is this right?" question be? Commented Jan 27, 2025 at 14:13
  • @Mari-LouAСлаваУкраїні This post answers the question is "What's in your mind?". Could you please explain me how your comment is related to this context? Commented Jan 27, 2025 at 15:52

Are you saying you don't know what a question looks like? The reason why each meta (or nearly) across the network has a post that attempts to help users create a good on topic question is surely self evident. Commented Jan 27, 2025 at 18:46
