If I correctly understand what you're asking, note it states in the question text, regarding this new guidelines feature, that "The new functionality allows for three titled guidelines, or perhaps three sections of guidelines, to optimize space within the modal. MiniMarkdown (like in Chat itself) is supported." As such, for now at least, it appears this will accept the same markdown formatting as whatever is available in Chat.
