Mar 30, 2022 at 13:31 comment added Yaakov Ellis StaffMod Minor changes = the post could go live as it is, but there are some improvements that the author can make that will make it better and more likely to succeed. Could be edits or formatting (that the Reviewer could make themself, but just dont want to). Could be a request for additional details (the absence of which dont disqualify the question, but the presence of which would increase its chances of getting a good answer and helping others).
Mar 30, 2022 at 13:29 comment added Yaakov Ellis StaffMod Suggest larger changes = the question is not at all ready to go live, but here is what is missing that you need to fill in. Relevant code being missing is something that could be here. Or "please explain what you tried". There will be canned comments to help with some of the common cases.
Mar 30, 2022 at 8:30 comment added NoDataDumpNoContribution The subtext of the action seems to indicate that minor changes are changes that the asker can be trusted to do alone and the question can be published automatically afterwards and major changes are changes that need to be reviewed and a separate go has to be given afterwards. Adding relevant code would probably be a major change in this regard because you would probably want to check that any code that is added is really the relevant code. Maybe Yaakov can give examples of meaningful minor changes.
