I look forward to this launching, I think it'll be a fun thing to engage with!

However, I just have a little concern about using answer engagement as a winning criteria. It's an effective method, but does require a little consideration to ensure it's fair.

You may have heard about the Fastest Gun in the West problem. Simply put, the first answers posted get more votes/interactions than newer answers. Additionally, if answers are sorted by score by default, then newer answers have a lower chance of being seen.

I'm sure there's been internal considerations about this, and that there'll be something in place to ensure all answers get a chance to have a level of engagement. However I think it's still worthwhile making sure it's explicitly handled before anything launches. Additionally, discussing it now means people can give feedback if needed :p

Unrelated, but I do appreciate that y'all came to check out The Nineteenth Byte as I suggested in my answer on the initial question. It's great to see community engagement/exploration from SE, especially when the community in question is very pertinent!
