May be a coincidence, but it does very much look like that a dupe closure has been morphed into a simple "look here as well" post linkage feature. | |

E.g. on that page beta.stackoverflow.com/questions/79896986/… it is clearly written "... not accepting new replies", but the answer box is still available. | |
