I have a background in mathematics, physics, computer science and visual art.

I am much better at (and more interested in) music theory than practice. But, I can play the recorder and various other simple woodwind instruments, as well as a drum kit and various percussion instruments (none with great skill, by any stretch of the imagination).

I like composing small pieces of music for all sorts of instruments/ensembles/orchestra, primarily using LilyPond for typesetting the score and generating midi files of which I get audio playback through MuseScore.

I love theory, coding, specialist notation, and details. I like many different styles of music.
