Supporting biodiversity through small actions 🌿 Even small actions can make a meaningful difference. This summer, for the first time, a meadow at the Luvata Pori Oy plant site has been left unmowed, allowing it to grow and flower naturally. This creates a greener environment and provides valuable shelter for insects and small animals in the area. 🐝 Additionally, Luvata Pori’s summer employees built insect hotels in the meadow, using mostly natural and recycled materials found on-site, to offer safe nesting sites for beneficial insects. Luvata Pori Oy appoints Eero Pukkila as new Plant Manager 📢 Following the launch of the new Materials & Solutions business unit, Eero Pukkila was appointed as the new Plant Manager of Luvata Pori. Former head of the plant, Jyrki Rantanen, has transitioned to lead the Materials & Solutions business unit. With two decades of experience at the company, Pukkila is well acquainted with Luvata Pori’s operations.
