What to do in Germany?

Expats living in the Netherlands will certainly want to see everything the country has to offer. Those with crypto investments may want to check funds with the Chainlink (LINK) koers before planning a holiday; They may realize they have extra money in their bank accounts. This means you can go a bit farther away for an extended vacation.

So, go beyond the Dutch borders! Germany is close and offers plenty of tourist attractions and all-inclusive vacations. And you will be pleased to know that you can use your bitcoin wallet at many German holiday locations.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber

The old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of the most beautiful places in Germany. This medieval town is the showpiece of the Franconia region. You can take a four-kilometer walk on the old city wall, and enjoy the picturesque streets and old buildings that make Rothenburg ob der Tauber so beloved.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle is often described as a scene from a fairytale. The castle is world-famous for its exceptional location and romantic architectural style. Neuschwanstein Castle is located in the south of Germany, not far from the Austrian border. For years it has been one of Germany's most famous sights and possibly the country's most photographed structure. While you are there, you can walk to the castle or enjoy the view from the mountains.

Heidelberg Castle

In addition to Neuschwanstein, Heidelberg Castle is not to be missed. This castle is not fully intact, but the 14th-century structure is still beautiful to see. The towers, the moats, and the church are fascinating to behold. Heidelberg Castle is not far from Mannheim and is the fourth most popular attraction in Germany.

Brandenburg Gate

Brandenburg Gate is a highlight of Berlin. This gate was built in the 1700s and is the only one of its kind still standing. Participants of the Berlin Marathon even run through it. Thankfully, tourists can pass through without running 42 kilometers.

Cologne Cathedral

Cologne, Germany is home to the Dom, a Gothic architecture masterpiece. Visitors can scale the 150-meter high tower for fantastic views of the entire city. However, trying to fit the whole cathedral in a photo is nearly impossible.

And if you happen to visit the cathedral in the winter, the Christmas market is an absolute must-see.
