Updates

  • We’re proud to have brought together TVNZ Seven Sharp and new show sponsor realestate.co.nz.   Whether they’re in apartments, houses, farms or local businesses many of Seven Sharp’s stories unfold in the places RealEstate.co.nz is most familiar with, so partnering the two made perfect sense. Keep an eye out for what’s to come and congrats to both on this new partnership!

We may not be Hilary Barry and Jeremy Wells, but we do have some pretty exciting news… realestate.co.nz is the new major sponsor of Seven Sharp!  From today, this partnership will bring realestate.co.nz into the living rooms of Kiwis across the country. For you, our agents, that means more Kiwis seeing realestate.co.nz and more eyes on the properties you list with us, giving you one more reason to get us onto your marketing schedules.  It’s an exciting partnership between two iconic Kiwi brands with a shared connection to the people, places and communities that make Aotearoa home. We’ll leave the presenting to the professionals but make sure you tune in tonight at 7pm on TVNZ 1 or TVNZ+to see the partnership come to life. • We are buzzing to see this partnership come to life! Congratulations to the team at 2degrees on becoming a Foundation Partner of Auckland's City Rail Link, helping connect communities through one of New Zealand's most transformative infrastructure projects. We're proud to have worked alongside 2degrees in bringing this opportunity together, alongside our partners at QMS NZ and TBWA\New Zealand. A great example of what can be achieved when brands, agencies and media partners collaborate behind a shared vision.

It’s fair to say we are pretty excited about the new City Rail Link. 2degrees is one of six foundation advertising partners, and we have rolled out a range of special creative throughout 29 animated screen across the network. It looks great, if we do say so ourselves.   AND, we have worked with One NZ, Spark, and Auckland Transport to ensure coverage while passengers are being whisked along, with a modern solution that sees what’s called a centralised baseband hotel at Karanga-a-Hape, passive Radio Frequency and radiating cable infrastructure throughout the tunnels, and an active Distributed Antenna System shared between Spark New Zealand, One New Zealand and ourselves.   Jargon aside, this means you can stare at your phone and not talk to fellow passengers if you want. Or you can put the phone away and have a chat. Up to you! Thanks also to QMS TBWA\New Zealand and OMD NZ.

  • Countdown: on. This won’t be just another cricket season. It's set to deliver some of the biggest sporting moments of the summer. With India touring next month to play the BLACKCAPS and the WHITE FERNS joining the action from December, all signs point to a blockbuster season for fans, broadcasters, and brands alike. We're proud to be the media agency partner for New Zealand Cricket and help connect audiences with a stellar season of cricket ahead. Congratulations to Sky New Zealand on a successful launch this week and on assembling such a strong commentary and presenting team for the season ahead. Now, bring on summer. 🏏☀️

Rural never rests, unless the game’s on. 🏉   We’re proud to have worked alongside Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited to bring Rural Rugby Legends to life, celebrating the volunteers, organisers, coaches and community champions who keep rural rugby thriving across Aotearoa.   From helping secure and onboard the partnership, to building it out across media and content, it’s been a great example of what can happen when a strong brand purpose meets the right platform and partners.   A big thanks to Plato and our media partners, TVNZ, Sky New Zealand and Sport Nation (Entain Australia & New Zealand) for helping shine a spotlight on the people behind the game.   And most importantly, congratulations to Farmlands on a campaign that puts rural communities and the legends who support them front and centre. If you know someone who keeps your club ticking, nominate them now at https://lnkd.in/ejCZ6JJf   Here’s to celebrating the people who make the game possible. 💚🏉   #Farmlands #RuralRugbyLegends #Partnerships #Community #OMD

  • Yesterday marked the first day of our media-strategised effort to help Kiwis remember to treat their pets for parasites with Boehringer Ingelheim NexGard Spectra monthly, by choosing a memorable day each month. The NexGard 1st campaign is designed to do just that.   This new media-first strategy concentrates NexGard Spectra's above-the-line activity into the days leading up to the 1st of each month, turning the media schedule itself into a recurring reminder designed to help Kiwi pet owners build a lasting pet protection habit.   When you spot Good Gravy’s creative with brand ambassador Colin and Dame Lisa Carrington, we hope to remind you to protect your pet with NexGard 1st.

  • Fighting for Fair… not just a slick marketing line but a commitment from 2degrees   Last week you saw that on the front page of Stuff newspapers, plastered across Go Media NZ sites and all over social alongside 2degrees’ announcement of its partnership with New Zealand Rugby. Planned and launched by OMD New Zealand with our partners TBWA\New Zealand and One Plus One Communications, the campaign highlighted 2degrees' specific role in supporting the women’s game right from Under 18s to the Black Ferns.   Keep watching 2degrees’ SupportHER Club activity to see how a brand can help fight for fairness.

  • Bringing partnerships like this to life takes a village. We're proud to have been part of the team supporting 2degrees' partnership with New Zealand Rugby, working alongside an exceptional group of partners united by a common purpose. This partnership is about more than rugby. It's about championing women and girls in sport, creating opportunities, increasing visibility, and helping inspire future generations of athletes across Aotearoa. 👏 A huge congratulations to the team at 2degrees for their vision and commitment, and to the entire team who played a role in making this happen. It’s been a privilege to be on this journey with you. Congratulations also to New Zealand Rugby, you've landed a great partner in 2degrees! We're excited to continue supporting initiatives like this one, that connect brands with culture in ways that create meaningful impact. #Local #WomenAndGirlsInSport #PurposeDrivenMarketing

Massive news from us! We're excited to announce that we've partnered with New Zealand Rugby as its official telecommunications partner AND we will be supporting a range of women’s professional teams and high-performance pathway programmes in Aotearoa, including – drum roll – THE BLACK FERNS.   We welcomed Head Coach of the Black Ferns Whitney Hansen, Black Ferns Co-Captain Ruahei Demant and Black Ferns fullback Braxton Sorensen-McGee into 2degrees today, and announced the partnership to media and staff.    As part of the partnership, we'll be backing our wāhine toa as they learn confidence and safety through the Contact Ready programme, to becoming a Black Fern representing Aotearoa on the world stage.   Through 2degrees SupportHER Club, we've championed women and girls in sport for years, and we're proud to now bring women's rugby into that commitment.   We can't wait to see what the next three years have in store. Game on. 🏉🖤
