McDonald’s superfans — brace yourselves.

On Tuesday, April 15, McDonald’s surprised fans by revealing that the brand’s cult-favorite Snack Wraps would be returning to menus sometime this year.

In a post on X, the official McDonald’s account teased the return of the discontinued menu item saying that the item would return on "0x.14.2025," without specifying which month.

The Snack Wrap originally debuted on McDonald's menus in the U.S. in 2006 before being discontinued in 2016. The fan-favorite item consisted of chicken, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese covered in either ranch or honey mustard and wrapped inside of a tortilla.

McDonald's fans and Snack Wrap connoisseurs tried to take a stab at when exactly the menu item would be returning, only knowing that it would be on the 14th of one month in 2025.

"I'm betting on June," one social media user responded, to which McDonald's said "I cannot confirm or deny."

"Soon friend soon," McDonald's said in response to another excited user.

McDonald's President of U.S.A. Joe Erlinger confirmed in an interview with Good Morning America in December 2024 that the item would be back before the end of this year.

"The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025," Erlinger told host George Stephanopulos. "This has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025."

Erlinger also noted that he could not reveal the exact date as to when the wrap would return for "competitive reasons."
