On Why Earth's Night Sky is not White

Abstract

A problem that affects all perceivers, on looking out into Space, is, at night, if the Milky Way is populated by uncountable billions of stars, why is Earth’s night ‘sky’ not full of white light? In this essay, I attempt to answer that question.
