This gives a good answer on where there may be actual oil shortages which is mostly objectively answerable. Additionally there are multiple direct and indirect effects of price increases and the price increases are to a large part psychological or due to market power.quarague– quarague2026-03-30 07:50:08 +00:00Commented yesterday

4Asia, the largest and most populous continent. I suppose that narrows it down, but perhaps the people getting bombed in Iran might be a more specific group as "most affected." If you want to move past them, UAE on the other side of the straight, and Kuwait and Iraq who just lost their ability to export via sea might also stand in for most affected.user121330– user1213302026-03-30 22:18:08 +00:00Commented yesterday

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. united-states), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
