  • $\begingroup$ @paniK #1: if sth is lit then it is on fire, so burning, but lit is also an abbreviation for literature, so books. #2: "ravaged", implying destruction, is an anagram indicator acting on Iran, so we take an anagram of it, and it is by T, fatal heart, i.e. the "heart" of the word "fatal". We get T rain, or train, or condition (as a verb). #3: Merriam Webster confirms r can mean "real". So AK (Alaska) tours (goes around) r, giving ark, or where Noah and his wife, his sons and their wives and the pairs of animals safely were in the great flood in the Bible (so a good pick for a couples' cruise). $\endgroup$ Commented Oct 3, 2025 at 11:33
