QuranicNames.com is one of my projects that unites my specialties as a writer, Islamic studies researcher and software engineer. It was never my intention to be involved with baby name websites, but in 2012 I was living in Abu Dhabi and looking for a project to fill my free time with, and on seeing the low quality of Muslim baby name websites on the Internet and the questionable nature of their information, I decided to make the most authoritative Muslim baby name website on the Internet.
While I had plans to make the articles detailed, in-depth, and authoritative, with scholarly references, and to add articles for every possible name Muslims might be interested in, unfortunately in 2014-15 I fell ill with multiple chronic conditions (that I still suffer from), which put an end to most of my plans.
As of 2025 I have recovered enough to start working on QuranicNames again, and inshaAllah given time I will continue to improve and expand the website.

Due to my many responsibilities, and my illnesses that often keep me from working, I cannot keep a close eye on my various websites, and for this reason I cannot answer all comments. If you have a question, please email me, and if you do not get an answer, email me again.
(Apologies for the ads, I haven’t found a better way to support the site’s server and development costs. I have made every effort to restrict the ads to appropriate ones, but this is not always reliable. InshaAllah I will move to using an Islamic ad network once it becomes possible. I have tried making the website donation-supported, but after one month and hundreds of thousands of visitors, no one donated.)
