Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how RepOcean collects, uses, and protects your information, including data obtained through the Instagram API with Instagram Login when you connect an Instagram account to our Instagram Feed app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information you provide, such as your name, email address and website url. We also collect information automatically, such as your IP address, website url, widget view count and in-app usage events.

2. Instagram / Meta Platform Data

When you connect an Instagram account to our Instagram Feed app, you authorize us through the Instagram API with Instagram Login (OAuth) to access certain information from that account. Specifically, we access and store:

• Your Instagram user ID, username, and account type;
• A long-lived Instagram access token, which we store securely and use only to retrieve your content on your behalf;
• Your Instagram media (images, videos, captions, permalinks, and timestamps), which we retrieve in order to display your feed on your storefront.

We use this information for a single purpose: to display your own Instagram feed within your online store through our widget. We only request the minimum permissions needed to display your feed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our Service, to communicate with you, and for pricing purposes. Instagram Platform Data is used solely to power the Instagram feed widget as described in Section 2.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your personal information or your Instagram data with third parties.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your Instagram access token and profile details only while your Instagram account remains connected to our app. You can remove your data at any time by:

• Disconnecting your Instagram account from within the app;
• Removing the app from your Instagram account settings, which triggers our deauthorize process and deletes your stored data; or
• Submitting a data deletion request, which is handled automatically by our data deletion callback. Upon completion you receive a confirmation code and a link to check the status of your request.

When any of these actions occur, we delete the stored access token and associated Instagram profile details for that account from our systems.

You can update your account information and preferences at any time, and you can disconnect your Instagram account or request deletion of your data as described in Section 5.
