Ultra Dynamic PnL Target R/R tool [RWTrading]I designed this as a way to force myself into creating targets to give myself realistic expectations while I was in the trade. I wanted a drawing tool originally, but it quickly evolved into something so much more. Almost every aspect of this tool is customizable. That includes the positioning of the boxes, labels, etc. If you are unhappy with where something is and how it looks--likely you can move it! The trade dashboard tells you a lot of quick information about the trade. Everything can be toggled on or off as well to reduce the noise. You activate the indicator and it will ask you to set three points: Entry, Stop, Target. You should know each one of these before you place a trade, at least that was what I was striving to achieve. It will then populate the proper R/R and give you information. You can toggle the full version of the compact version of the data as well. As each target is approached it will be dimmed and checked. After 1R has been reached, I have added a reminder to consider bringing your stop loss to break even. Protect your capital and make sure you give up less of your profits to the markets. Default parameters are optimized for BTCUSDC on Binance, but all inputs are fully adjustable — the strategy can be adapted to any symbol or timeframe by tuning the parameters to match that market's characteristics. Core Philosophy Most trend-following strategies fail not because the trend concept is wrong, but because they enter too early, in low-quality conditions, or against the dominant momentum. This strategy addresses all three problems simultaneously by requiring four independent conditions to align before any trade is taken. The result is a low-frequency, high-selectivity system — the majority of 30-minute bars produce no signal at all. When a signal does appear, it reflects a convergence of volatility breakout, trend alignment, momentum direction, and oscillator confirmation. Signal Layer 1 — Squeeze Momentum (Volatility Breakout) Bollinger Bands (BB) measure price volatility relative to a moving average. Keltner Channels (KC) measure volatility using ATR. When BB contracts inside KC, the market enters a squeeze — a low-volatility compression phase where energy builds. When BB expands back outside KC after a squeeze period, a momentum breakout is detected. The strategy only considers entries when this breakout occurs following a confirmed squeeze. This filters out random noise and focuses entries on genuine expansions from compressed conditions — a concept rooted in Wyckoff's accumulation and distribution phases, where periods of low volatility precede significant directional moves. The lookback parameter controls how many bars back the strategy checks for a prior squeeze. Signal Layer 2 — Higher Timeframe EMA Trend Filter A 2-hour Exponential Moving Average is used as a macro trend filter. Long trades are only allowed when price is above the 2h EMA. The EMA length parameter controls how responsive or smooth the trend filter is. Longer values produce a smoother, slower-reacting filter that keeps you aligned with major trends. Shorter values react faster but may produce more whipsaws during trend transitions. For other timeframes or symbols, this MTF EMA timeframe can be adjusted. The principle is to use a timeframe approximately 4× higher than your entry timeframe. Signal Layer 3 — HMA Slope (Momentum Acceleration) The Hull Moving Average is used to confirm that momentum is actively accelerating in the trade direction at the moment of entry. A rising HMA slope confirms long bias. A declining slope confirms short bias. The Phoenix TCI (Typical Close Index) is a smoothed momentum oscillator calculated from the typical price (HLC3) relative to its own deviation range, then further smoothed with an EMA. Here it is applied to HLC3 rather than close to reduce sensitivity to wicks and produce a smoother signal. All three must simultaneously agree on direction — bullish for longs, bearish for shorts. This triple confirmation dramatically reduces false signals compared to using any single oscillator alone. A secondary LSMA (Least Squares Moving Average) is applied to the composite Phoenix value as an additional trend confirmation. The LSMA slope must also agree with the trade direction. Exit Logic Three independent exit mechanisms are active simultaneously. Whichever triggers first closes the position. The ATR Trailing Stop is set at entry as a multiple of ATR below price for longs, above price for shorts. It moves with price as the trade progresses — locking in profits while giving the trade room to breathe. The stop only moves in the profitable direction and never moves against the trade. The ATR Take Profit is a fixed multiple of ATR set as a hard profit target at the moment of entry. When price reaches this level, the position closes regardless of other conditions. The Maximum Hold Bars exit closes the trade after a maximum number of bars regardless of P&L. This prevents positions from being held indefinitely in slow, directionless markets where the original signal has likely expired. A fourth optional exit is the Phoenix momentum reversal — when the Phoenix oscillator crosses below its signal line (for longs) or above (for shorts), it signals momentum exhaustion and the position closes. Regime Filter (ADX) An optional ADX-based regime filter prevents entries during sideways, low-trend markets. When ADX falls below the threshold, the market is considered to be in a ranging phase and no new entries are allowed. This filter is most effective on lower timeframes where choppy, directionless price action is more frequent. ADX threshold of 18 is the default — values below 18 indicate weak trend, values above indicate a trending environment. This can be adjusted based on the symbol and timeframe. Volatility-Adaptive ATR (Optional) An optional volatility scaling mode adjusts the ATR stop and take profit multipliers based on the current volatility percentile. In low-volatility environments, the multipliers are scaled down slightly. In high-volatility environments, they are scaled up. This keeps the strategy's risk-reward profile consistent across different market conditions. Disabled by default — enable with caution and verify on your target symbol before live use. Position Sizing Position size is calculated dynamically at each entry using ATR-based risk management. The formula ensures that the distance from entry to stop loss always represents the same fixed percentage of equity, regardless of current volatility. This keeps actual dollar risk per trade approximately constant. Default risk per trade is 2% of equity. This can be adjusted via the Risk per trade input. The position size is capped at 2× equity to prevent excessive leverage in extreme low-volatility conditions. Backtest Conditions Commission: 0.1% per trade (standard Binance Futures taker fee). Slippage: 2 ticks. process_orders_on_close: true — signals are only acted upon at confirmed bar close, eliminating intra-bar look-ahead bias. Lookahead is explicitly set to OFF in all security calls. Default parameters were tested on BTCUSDC 30m data from December 2018 to March 2026 — covering 8+ years and 507 completed trades across all major market regimes: the 2019 accumulation phase, the 2020–2021 bull run, the 2022 bear market, the 2023 sideways consolidation, and the 2024–2025 recovery. Adapting to Other Symbols and Timeframes The default parameters are specifically optimized for BTCUSDC on the 30-minute timeframe. Applying them directly to other symbols or timeframes without adjustment will likely produce suboptimal results, as each market has different volatility characteristics, trend behaviors, and momentum profiles. To adapt the strategy to a different symbol or timeframe, the following parameters are most important to re-tune: BB length and multipliers, KC multiplier, ATR length and multipliers, Phoenix N1/N2/N3 lengths, HMA length, EMA MTF length, and the squeeze lookback period. The regime filter ADX threshold should also be calibrated to the target market's typical trend strength. A systematic approach using parameter optimization (grid search or Bayesian optimization) across a representative historical dataset is recommended over manual trial-and-error. Why the Win Rate Is Low This is a trend-following system, not a mean-reversion system. It accepts a low win rate (approximately 28% on default settings) in exchange for a high reward-to-risk ratio. The average winning trade is significantly larger than the average losing trade. The mathematical edge comes from this asymmetry, not from being right more often than wrong. RSI, MACD, stochastics — they're all measuring direction in different ways. Market Pulse does something fundamentally different. It measures the energy state of the market — the rhythm underneath price that exists before any move happens. The concept is simple: markets breathe. Before every significant move, price compresses — ranges tighten, candles shrink, volatility collapses inward. The market is inhaling. Then it exhales. Price erupts, ranges expand, energy releases. Market Pulse makes that cycle visible in real time across four components stacked in a single clean pane. BREATH (top section — blue/amber line) This is the core reading. True range normalized against its own long-term average, so 1.0 always means "normal." When the line drops below the blue band (0.7), the market is compressing — inhaling, coiling, building potential energy. When it rises above the amber band (1.3), the market is expanding — exhaling, releasing, moving with conviction. A breath line that stays flat and low for many consecutive bars is the most important signal this indicator produces. That is a spring being loaded. RHYTHM (middle section — green/red histogram) Rhythm measures the rate of change of breath. Are we expanding faster than we were, or compressing faster? Green bars above the midline mean expansion is accelerating — the exhale is gaining momentum. Red bars below mean compression is deepening — the coil is getting tighter. The most powerful moment is when rhythm crosses from red to green after a prolonged compression period. That is the first sign the exhale has begun. TENSION (bottom section — gradient fill) Every bar that breath spends below 1.0 (below-normal range) accumulates tension. The fill builds from blue to amber as pressure increases. High tension means the spring has been coiled for a long time and release is statistically overdue. Tension does not decay instantly — it bleeds out slowly on expansion bars, reflecting how energy releases gradually after a long coil. When tension is at its peak and breath is still compressed, you are looking at maximum potential energy in the market. PULSE RATE (dotted circles — overlay on breath section) This tracks the average interval between breath peaks — how fast energy cycles are completing. When the dots are high, cycles are churning quickly (active, volatile market). When dots drop, cycles are slowing down. A decelerating pulse rate often precedes market exhaustion, regime change, or a significant transition in character. It is the one component that operates on a longer timescale than the others. BACKGROUND ALERTS 🔵Blue background tint — Tension above 75% AND breath compressed below 0.7. The coil is tight. Maximum potential energy. The market is wound up. 🟠Amber background tint — Breath above 1.3 AND rhythm positive. Active release in progress. Energy is being deployed. HOW TO USE IT This indicator does not tell you to buy or sell. It tells you what state the market is in so you can make better decisions with whatever strategy you already use. Use it to avoid trading in the wrong state — entering a trend trade during deep compression usually means getting chopped. Entering a range trade during active expansion means getting run over. Use it to time entries on your existing signals — a buy signal that fires while tension is at extreme highs and breath is turning up is a very different trade than the same signal firing in a neutral state. Use it to identify when something is about to happen — not what, but when the energy conditions are right for a significant move. Use it across timeframes — compression on the daily while expansion fires on the 4H often means a powerful intraday move within a larger coiling structure. SETTINGS Base Period (default 20) — The lookback for ATR and breath calculation. Higher values = smoother, slower readings. Lower = more reactive. Smoothing (default 5) — Applied to all components. Increase to reduce noise on lower timeframes. Tension Lookback (default 50) — How far back tension and rhythm normalize themselves. Higher = tension builds more slowly, more selective extremes. Pulse Rate Period (default 10) — How many breath cycles to average for the pulse rate calculation. VWAP Mean Reversion StrategyThis is a work in progress that I haven't finished yet. Strategy is based on price being overextended from the VWAP with a doji or hammer candle. Trigger candle is an engulfing or HH,HL,HO,HC candle for bullish entries, and the opposite for bearish. Various things are adjustable in settings, such as body-wick ratios, T.P multiplier etc. Broker spread can be manually adjusted to reflect accurate P/L including spread. I'm only publishing this so I can easily share it with my trading partner, for backtesting and improvement. Market Condition [ThetaLoop]Should you buy today or wait? That is the only question this indicator answers. Green means conditions are favorable. Red means they are not. Yellow means patience might pay off. No complicated settings. No confusing numbers. The chart background changes color and arrows appear when conditions shift. If you want to know what is happening under the hood, the info box in the corner shows the score. If you do not care about the details, just follow the colors. How it works (the simple version) The indicator checks eight different things simultaneously and combines them into a single score from 0 to 13. Is the stock in an uptrend or downtrend? Has it pulled back to an attractive level or is it overextended? Is the market calm or chaotic? Are price moves behaving normally or erratically? Is overnight risk (gaps) under control? Is there broader market panic happening? Is the stock near its all-time high or trading lower? Is there healthy trading volume? When most of these factors line up positively, the background turns green and you see a GO arrow. When too many factors are negative, the background turns red and you see a WAIT arrow. In between, it stays yellow. The three sensitivity modes Conservative — Needs strong alignment across all factors before showing green. Fewer signals but higher quality. Best for long-term investors who want to avoid bad entries. Balanced (default) — Middle ground. Shows green when conditions are clearly favorable without requiring perfection. Good for most people. Aggressive — Shows green more often, catches more opportunities but also more false starts. Better for active traders comfortable with some risk. What the colors mean in practice Green background (FAVORABLE) — Trend is up, the stock has pulled back from highs, volatility is stable, no panic in the broader market. This is historically where buying has worked well. Not a guarantee, but the statistics are in your favor. Yellow background (MIXED) — Some factors are positive, others are warning. You could buy a smaller position, or wait for green. This is the "maybe" zone where patience often pays off. Red background (UNFAVORABLE) — Multiple risk factors are flashing. The stock might keep falling, volatility is unstable, or the broader market is stressed. Historically, buying in red conditions has led to worse outcomes on average. Waiting costs nothing. The GO and WAIT arrows These appear only at transition points — when the condition flips from one state to another. A GO arrow means conditions just turned favorable. A WAIT arrow means conditions just deteriorated. The arrows do not repeat every bar, only at the moment of change. What this is NOT This is not a crystal ball. It cannot predict earnings surprises, sudden news, or black swan events. It measures the statistical environment right now and tells you whether that environment has historically been favorable or unfavorable for buyers. Think of it like checking the weather before going outside. A clear forecast does not guarantee sunshine all day, but it is better than walking out blind. A word about what powers this Under the surface, this indicator runs the same quantitative analysis used by institutional risk desks — realized volatility estimation, return distribution analysis, overnight gap decomposition, and cross-market regime detection. The difference is that all of that complexity is reduced to one color and one score. If you are curious about the individual components, each one is available as a separate indicator on this profile. Settings Sensitivity — Conservative, Balanced, or Aggressive. Start with Balanced. Color chart background — Toggle the green/yellow/red background on or off. Show buy/wait arrows — Toggle the transition arrows on or off. That is it. Three settings. If you never touch them, the defaults work well.
