This Earth Day, we are proud to announce a new collaboration with CleanSea – a Swedish organisation dedicated to removing plastic and marine debris from our oceans. Together, we will support the clean-up of the Gullmarn Fjord, located close to our mill in Munkedal – an area that is part of our daily environment and closely connected to our operations. At Arctic Paper, sustainability goes beyond responsible production – it’s also about taking care of the places where we operate. Supporting initiatives like CleanSea is a natural extension of our commitment to protecting local ecosystems and contributing to a more sustainable future. Arctic Paper Grycksbo has officially inaugurated Bio25 – a major investment focused on improving energy efficiency and sustainability at the mill. The project features an upgraded biofuel boiler and a new pellet production line, transforming residual biomass into a valuable new product. A strong step forward in reducing environmental impact and advancing circular resource use.
