  • Hyper-V is a service of Server 2008. If you activate Server 2008, that'll include Hyper-V. Commented Jul 12, 2012 at 15:58
  • I was under the impression that a server 2008 key did not activate guest OSes. Only in server 2003 was that available. Commented Jul 13, 2012 at 2:59
