    Programming is all about acronyms nowadays. Let's take the example of you talking about a Lamp Stack. A lot of people will probably just say LAMP or WAMP. Similarly, instead of saying Microsoft SQL Server we made it MS SQL Server to MS SQL to MSSQL Commented Apr 24, 2016 at 15:26
