R-sig-mixed-models -- R special interest group on Mixed Effect Models, notably lmer() related

About R-sig-mixed-models

This mailing list is for useRs and programmeRs interested in use and
development of mixed effect (hierarchical/multilevel) models in R. While focused on the lme4 package, many other packages are also discussed here.

  • Please do read the posting guide for R mailing lists before posting; this StackOverflow question on reproducible examples may also be useful.

  • the list has a wide audience; many readers will be unfamiliar with terminology from your subject area

  • Most large and/or non-text attachments will be stripped from messages; if you need to include pictures or data, please include a link to some publicly accessible site (e.g. Dropbox, imgur, etc.)

Other potential venues

  • Bug reports and feature requests for the lme4 package should be
posted at https://github.com/lme4/lme4/issues/ , although discussion
(e.g. "is a bug?") is welcome here

  • Questions that are not specific to mixed models (e.g., use and
interpretation of parameters/contrasts in linear models) may be better
for the r-help mailing list, CrossValidated or the StackOverflow [r] tag

  • Questions that are primarily about statistical theory might be better
    suited for CrossValidated

Please refrain from cross-posting to related venues (e.g.StackExchange sites and other R mailing lists.)
