WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) introduced today the Countering Harmful Adversarial Rechargeable and Generative Energy Act or CHARGE Act. This bill would prohibit the importation of energy storage systems containing remote monitoring capabilities from Chinese entities.

Rep. Steube’s bill serves as a House companion to legislation introduced by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.).
