5This answer is so straight forward, I start to wonder if some people even read what is on their screen. (not meant against you Attie, this is a valid answer)LPChip– LPChip2018-02-23 14:17:54 +00:00Commented Feb 23, 2018 at 14:17

5It's not obvious enough since we're still up-voting this answer. My initial thought was to look in "Find in Files" for this option since I think of each tab as a "file".Ben– Ben2019-12-11 17:00:08 +00:00Commented Dec 11, 2019 at 17:00

2Just pointing out that, in newer versions (v8.4.6 at least), the placement of "Find All in All Opened Documents" and "Find All in Current Document" are swapped. I was so focused on the expected output that didn't check this for quite some time.pras92– pras922023-02-09 13:49:10 +00:00Commented Feb 9, 2023 at 13:49

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
