A bit in the hacky territory but this answer describes how to remap buttons per keyboard: superuser.com/questions/1605363/remap-keys-per-keyboard the end result could be to map one or both clicks to something like F20 (which few physical keyboards have), to allow them to be assigned without any conflict.
