I am getting thisgetting the following error: on a 320 GB Western Digital external HDD that has 250 GB of music, and I can't eject it with the safely remove hardware icon.

On a 320GB WD external HDD that has 250GB of music and I can't eject it with the safely remove hardware icon.How do I was wondering how to solve this issue or ifis there is another way to remove the drive without compromising my files? I am running windows xpWindows XP.
