A Harry Styles Super Fan’s Dining Guide in NYC

International pop star Harry Styles is in New York City for his concert residency at Madison Square Garden (MSG). He’ll take over the Midtown venue for his Together Together tour, showcasing his latest album Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally, with a whopping 30 shows.

The first concert of the residency kicks off tonight, Wednesday, August 26. The rest of the shows are spread out until Sunday, October 31, aka Halloween — or more aptly, Harryween. (This will beat his previous MSG record of 15 shows in 2022.)

These are also Styles’s only U.S. tour dates, which means fans from across the country and world are coming to New York just for him. And luckily, New York City is going all out with themed food and drinks and dancing with all of our friends.

Here’s everything a Harry Styles fan and residency attendee needs to know about dining and drinking around and in the venue, as well as the rest of New York City.

R Slice Pizza/Roberta’s: The slice shop from the Roberta’s team is a good-and-easy bet for pizza and drinks. The downstairs area is for ordering and quicker eating; go upstairs for the rooftop space with an outdoor tiki bar.

Papa San: The Japanese Peruvian restaurant from the Llama team serves up an easy lunch with bowls and sandwiches, and a thoughtful dinner with dishes like ceviches and lomo saltado. Also check out its hot dog cart outside.

Her Name Is Han: Get here a tad bit before doors open for some of the most soothing Korean meals in Koreatown.

Irish Exit: Duck into the food hall inside the Moynihan Train Hall for this sneaky-good place for Guinness pints and fast-pouring espresso martinis from the Dead Rabbit team.

Anita Gelato: End the evening with creamy gelato and refreshing sorbets from this shop.

People with general admission (GA) tickets can line up for special priority entry starting at 11 a.m. on show day at the Chase D Entrance of MSG at West 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue, and receive wristbands for entry at 5:30 p.m.

Los Tacos No. 1: Come to this location of the well-loved taqueria for breakfast burritos from the alfresco cart or street tacos.

Salumeria Biellese Delicatessen: This Italian deli makes excellent hot and cold sandwiches.

There are two pop-up shops: one inside MSG (Chase Square, noon to 5 p.m. on show days), and another in the East Village (22 E. Second Street, near Second Avenue, noon to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays). For East Village restaurants:

Win Son Bakery: Just a block away is the Manhattan location of the Taiwanese American bakery and restaurant, with pastries and savory items.

Cafe 30: MSG has created this special food stand just for Styles. The menu includes disco fries, nachos with chicken pibil, a crispy hot dog, pretzel with a honey-wasabi dipping sauce, falafel bites, fried Oreo cookies, and funnel cake.

All MSG bars: The bars are mixing up special Styles drinks with a take-home cup that lights up. For booze, try the Need a Little Limencello, a limoncello spritz, or the Spritz All the Time, a Hugo spritz. For a nonalcoholic option, get the Me & You with lemon and blood orange juices and rose water.

The Dynamo Room: The MSG-adjacent steakhouse and grill is making the Watermelon Sugar cocktail during the residency, with an aperitivo blend, watermelon, guava, and sparkling wine. It also makes for a good before/after dining and drinks spot for the shows.

Blackbarn: The New American restaurant is offering a thorough dining guide on how to eat and drink there before going to the show. There’s, yes, a Watermelon Sugar cocktail, with reposado tequila, watermelon, Aperol, lemon, and agave; and the compressed watermelon and charred onion dish.
