Sarah Jessica Parker is in peak form during ballet season. And tonight, the actor arrived on the red carpet for the New York City Ballet’s Fall Fashion Gala (she’s a founding member of the event) in romantic, ribboned fashion.
For the occasion, Parker chose a floral, sheer gown by Simone Rocha for the occasion, and styled her hair to match. Her long hair—typically worn in beachy waves—was instead pulled back into a Rapunzel-esque updo (extensions helped it reach almost to her knees!). From there, her hairstylist wove a pink ribbon through the hair the perfectly matched those on her gown.
Parker’s longtime colorist, Gina Gilbert at Benjamin Salon, has been working with the star for years to transition her sunny blonde into something gray-friendly. Using a technique called “gray blending,” Gilbert melds bright highlights and natural gray hair into a seamless look.
Parker isn’t the only star who’s stepped out this week with their gray on full display: at the Zurich Film Festival, actor Olivia Colman made a chic case for quitting dye with her silver curls.
