This is a new bottle arriving in Costco stores now we've never seen before. It's a white Bordeaux that comes in at 100% Sauvignon Blanc (no Semillon).
This year we saw the Kirkland line of wines introduce a Bordeaux Blanc for $6.99 that was very good. We gave it 89 points and definitely a thumbs up from a value standpoint.
This is a similar wine in many ways, albeit at a higher price point, and while it's a very good wine as well, we'd probably opt for the Kirkland one if you still see it lingering around.
This wine is a pale yellow in the glass with citrus fruit and herbal aromas; medium in body with balanced acidity; flavors of white peach, lemon, pear and green apple; crisp and refreshing with mineral notes in the finish.
Not a bad wine at all, and a good, versatile, food friendly choice. Easy drinking with lower alcohol (11.5%).
