Apr 28, 2015 at 16:06 comment added Mowing Bar @Ignasi I have tried this but have suffered a large increase in the compilation time, even with all the answers provided to this question and others. Is there any other alternative?

Apr 28, 2015 at 10:07 comment added Mowing Bar I think everyone has missed the point of my question. I want to split a chapter into two .tex files without a large compilation speed penalty.
